How can we use English in the primary classroom clearly, confidently, across subjects and in line with the new curriculum’s expectations? In this practical workshop, you’ll explore classroom language for everyday teaching situations, methodical approaches to vocabulary work, and playful ideas for games and activities. You’ll also learn how to teach songs, chants, and rhymes step by step – from introducing key words to full performance. Whether you already teach English or are preparing to do so, this workshop is for you. No matter if you feel confident using English or want to build more security in your classroom language, you’ll leave with fresh ideas you can use right away. Davina Timmins is an English language teacher and editor with international experience, holding an MA (Hons) in Linguistics from the University of Edinburgh and multiple TEFL qualifications. She currently teaches Business English at the University of Innsbruck and works as a materials developer and co-author of pedagogical resources. #English #Englisch #VS #Didaktik #Ost #Classroom English #Team_FK30.September 2026
