Inhalt
Reinforce vocabulary, grammar patterns, and pronunciations through music and Boomwhackers. Activities incorporate listening, speaking and reading through rhythm, repetition and musical cues. Enhance student engagement and motivation through interactive, hands-on strategies that increase participation and lower language anxiety. Promote collaborative learning through group-based musical tasks that encourage multi-model communication and cultural knowledge.
Christina Crawford has over 15 years of English language teaching experience in the US and Europe. From 2014-2020 she taught at the Pädagogische Hochschule Oberösterreich as well as at an elementary, middle and high school in Linz. She has her Master degree in Teaching English in Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) and currently oversees English language learning programs in Pennsylvania.

Pedagogical competences include the designing of engaging, student-centered learning that uses multisensory approaches to support language acquisition as well as applying differentiation strategies for mixed-ability and multilingual classrooms. Didactic and methodological competencies include Total Physical Response and scaffolding strategies. Linguistic competence includes modeling, vocabulary acquisition and encouraging authentic language use. Other competencies which this training addresses include linguistic competence, classroom management, intercultural knowledge and reflective and professional competence.
