7F6.TFK5A02 | Using artificial intelligence in the English classroom to boost writing and speaking competences
Inhalt
This course focuses on practical AI applications for the classroom, presenting an array of use cases to enhance writing, speaking, and vocabulary training. It starts with theoretical grounding and presenting example use cases, materials, and prompts. Through hands-on experience, participants are encouraged to explore and create concrete plans on how to integrate AI into their own teaching-related fields, as well as to help students develop awareness and skills regarding AI use. This workshop is suitable for those with little to no technical experience.
Andreas Schuch is an English and Computer Science teacher. He is involved in the Erasmus+ project “MYSTY”, which promotes digital storytelling as a way of raising awareness of one’s own diversity and the intercultural diversity of others, while also fostering digital competences in an authentic and motivating way. He is also a co-founder of the Narrative Didactics Group, a research group exploring innovative story-based approaches and methods for primary, secondary and tertiary education.
